A Full NBA Slate To Help The Heater Continue

After a very solid weekend of sports, we’ve got a total of 12 NBA games to sift through today. In what should be one of the last only-NBA newsletters of the year with March Madness, MLB baseball, and NFL free agency opening up, let’s make it one to remember. Another clean sweep would help.
Here’s what we've got today:
NBA Quick Hitters
NBA Same Game Parlay

NBA Quick Hitters
🔹 Straight Bet Recommendation: Monday’s games haven’t seen a lot of line movement, so we’ll just recommend a straight pick instead. The Spurs are 5.5-point favorites against the Mavericks, and betting against Dallas has been a reliable source of income in the last couple of weeks. We recommend continuing to take what’s given and back the Spurs at home against the shell of an NBA roster that the Mavs deploy.

🔹 Odds Boost to Grab: Sleeper Picks is currently offering a 100% deposit match up to $1,500, compared to a 50% deposit match from Underdog. If you need a new book, Sleeper is worth a gander.
🔹 Trap Game Warning: The Lakers are taking 87% of the money as 6-point favorites against the Nets. Los Angeles will be without Rui Hachimura and LeBron James, while Luka Doncic and Jaxson Hayes enter the game with injury designations. We can’t confidently back the Nets here, but best to stay away from this game altogether.

Raptors-Wizards Same Game Parlay
This is an absolutely crazy game to highlight for a parlay, but there’s three or four really appealing lines. Besides, it’ll give you something to watch through the last hours of a work shift.
1) Immanuel Quickley Over 19.5 Points

We recommended this same bet against the same line last time around. Quickley rewarded us with a 34-point outing, one of his best games of the season. He’s obviously still red-hot, and with a heavy minutes load against one of the worst defenses in the league in Washington, we’re trusting him again.
2) Alex Sarr Over 2.5 Assists

Sarr has steadily improved all season, aside from a brief hiatus thanks to injury. He’s a decent enough passer during the touches that he does get, and the Raptors have given up a ton of easy buckets off of back-cuts and rubs off of the center this season. This line should probably be one assist higher, so we’ll take our chances here.
3) Scottie Barnes Under 34.5 Points, Rebounds, and Assists
While Quickley’s been hot, Barnes has struggled mightily in his last ten games, shooting only 44% from the field and 24% from three. The Wizards are a slightly advantageous matchup for power forwards, but this line is too juiced when considering how cold Barnes has been as of late.

Nuggets-Thunder Game Pick
The top two seeds in the Western Conference will face off once more to put a stamp on Monday night’s slate. The two teams met Sunday morning, with Oklahoma City putting together a solid fourth quarter to finalize a nearly-dominant win. Monday’s rematch should be another competitive one. Here’s a look at the odds.

Denver’s Key Players
C Nikola Jokic: Not much needs to be said about Jokic. The lone member of the 30-20-20 club is the motor through which the Nuggets run just about everything. If he doesn’t have a great game, a Denver win is out of the question.

G Russell Westbrook: There are obviously more important members of the Nuggets than Russ, but he’s turned into a bit of barometer for Denver’s success. When he shoots well from deep, the Nuggets are a really difficult team to beat. His 1-5 from 3 on Sunday helped the game get out of hand into the late going.

Oklahoma City’s Key Players
G Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Much like Jokic, everybody knows about SGA’s fantastic season. Free throw merchant or not, he’s the second-best player in the league going up against the first. His 40-point showing on Sunday morning was instrumental in driving the dagger into Denver in the fourth quarter.

G Lou Dort: Dort displayed his usual defensive excellence against Jamal Murray on Sunday, and he’ll be asked to replicate Monday night. Denver cannot win with Jokic alone. When Murray struggles, the whole Nuggets offense can feel totally stagnant, so Dort’s performance will have a massive impact on the outcome of the game.

ATS Stats to Know
The Thunder are 20-10 ATS at home.
The Thunder are 26-12 ATS when given equal rest to their opponent.
The Thunder are 31-18 ATS after a win.
The Nuggets are 9-3 ATS without rest.
The Nuggets are 6-5 ATS as road underdogs.
The Nuggets are 15-18 ATS on the road.
Final Pick
The difference in consistency between the teams determines this pick. Denver’s supporting cast is liable to no-show any game, while the Thunder consistently play elite basketball. We’ll take OKC to cover for the second time in a row.
