An All-NBA Monday

It’s not quite a full slate of NBA action, but it’s close enough. We’ve got some money to make back after a very subpar weekend, thanks to us here at Ballers and partially due to our friend Patrick. Time to get some back on a very workable NBA Monday.

Here’s what we've got today:

  • NBA Quick Hitters

  • NBA Money Line Parlay

  • NBA Player Prop Parlay

Make sure you’re all set up with our special offers.

NBA Quick Hitters

🔹 Sharp Money Alert: Atlanta opened as 8.5-point dogs against Memphis. That line is down to 6.5 thanks to Ja Morant’s questionable designation. We’re a fan of the Hawks in this spot, as the Grizzlies haven’t been playing their best ball lately. Additionally, Trae Young is probable to play here, making this much more appealing.

🔹 Odds Boost to Grab: Sleeper Picks is currently offering a 100% deposit match up to $1,500, compared to a 50% deposit match from Underdog. If you need a new book, Sleeper is worth a gander.

🔹 Trap Game Warning: The Warriors are back in the trap game section. Golden State is taking 70% of the bets as 11.5-point favorites against the Hornets. This has all the makings of a trap game. A bad opponent before a much bigger game (national TV against the Knicks) while coming off of a loss to a lesser opponent. We’ll back Charlotte to cover.

NBA Money Line Parlay

It’s time to mix things up a little bit. Usually, we’re all about a single straight bet or player prop parlays, but why not get some money line parlays going?

🔹 The Anchor: Detroit Pistons ML (-420)

Every lay needs a gimme, and the Pistons are as close as it gets. The Jazz are atrocious and Detroit will enter playing some of their best basketball. Nothing is a lock, but this is as close as it gets.

🔹 The Solid Pick: Philadelphia 76ers (-164)

The Sixers aren’t great, but Philly has been playing solid basketball lately. A close game against the Knicks and a win against the Warriors precede a matchup with the Blazers, a terrible team on a back-to-back coming off of an overtime loss. We feel good about Philly here.

🔹 The Moneymaker: Atlanta Hawks (+265)

We said we were big fans of the Hawks earlier. Trae Young will play, and the Grizzlies have endured a grueling stretch of contests coming into this one. A big game from Young could help pull off one hell of an upset.

NBA Player Prop Parlay

“Bomb” doesn’t even begin to describe the last iteration of this section. After a couple of cashes we crashed and burned, so we’ll go for an easier three-legger to try to get back on track today.

Anfernee Simons Over 19.5 Points (-114)

Simons has been much improved lately, seeing increases in shooting percentage, three-point percentage, and minutes over his last ten games. The Sixers are one of the best matchups for opposing point guards in the league, so we believe in Simons to score a 20-piece in enemy territory on Monday.

Jaren Jackson Jr. Over 1.5 Three-Pointers Made (-154)

The Hawks allow opposing teams to shoot 37% from three against them, and Atlanta doesn’t have the athleticism to successfully contest Jackson beyond the arc all night. He only needs two clean looks to bring down another leg.

Keegan Murray Over 12.5 Points (-110)

Murray, like Simons, has seen an uptick in relevant offensive stats in the last ten games. His primary matchup, PJ Washington, will miss this game with an injury, as will Murray’s teammate, Domantas Sabonis. Sabonis’s absence will open up plenty of opportunities, and Murray should capitalize in a plus matchup.

Parlay Bet: 4-Leg Spread on FanDuel

  • Leg 1: Anfernee Simons Over 19.5 Points – (-114)

  • Leg 2: Jaren Jackson Jr. Over 1.5 Three Pointers Made – (-154)
