Money To Be Made On NBA Monday

After an excellent weekend of sports, we’ve got some money to make up. The UFC picks didn’t quite go to plan, and nothing special came from the NBA plays. The good news is we’ve got plenty of opportunity to make things up on both college and NBA basketball.

Here’s what we've got today:

  • NBA Quick Hitters

  • CBB Best Game Pick

  • NBA Player Prop Parlay

Make sure you’re all set up with our special offers.

NBA Quick Hitters

🔹 Sharp Money Alert: It isn’t often that the Trail Blazers open as favorites, but that’s exactly what happened in their matchup with the Jazz. Portland opened at -3, and the line has moved all the way to Blazers +1. That’s a bit of a shock considering that four of five members of Utah’s starting five are either out or questionable. Take the Blazers as dogs.
🔹 Odds Boost to Grab: Sleeper Picks is currently offering a 100% deposit match up to $1,500, compared to a 50% deposit match from Underdog. If you need a new book, Sleeper is worth a gander.
🔹 Trap Game Warning: Brooklyn is taking 80% of the money as -3 favorites against the Wizards. Both teams suck, but the Nets taking that much chalk is just insanity. Fade the public here.

CBB: Houston vs. Texas Tech Pick

The Cougars will head north to take on the interstate rival Red Raiders in a matchup of top ten teams. Here’s a look at the odds.

Houston’s Impact Players

  • G LJ Cryer: The senior guard leads the Cougs in scoring with 15 points per game. He’ll be needed in a tough defensive matchup.

  • F J’Wan Roberts: Roberts, another senior, paces Houston in rebounds. He’ll have his hands full with Tech’s Elijah Hawkins, who averages six boards and nine points for the Raiders.

  • G Emanuel Sharp: Despite only 25 minutes per game, Sharp is the second-leading scorer on the team. His output will be necessary to crack one of the best defensive teams in the nation.

Texas Tech’s Impact Players

  • F JT Toppin: Toppin has been one of the best players in the nation, averaging a whopping 17 and 9 for the Red Raiders. He’s Tech’s lifeblood on offense and heart on defense. The Raiders will live and die by his performance here.

  • G Christian Anderson: Texas Tech has long been a home for annoying defensive guards, and Anderson fits the bill. He leads the team in steals per game and is good for a solid 10 points a contest.

ATS Stats to Know

  • Houston is 5-2 ATS as road favorites.

  • Houston is 15-12 ATS overall.

  • Texas Tech is 10-6 ATS at home.

  • This is Texas Tech’s first game of the season as a home underdog.

Houston has the firepower to overcome an always-tough Red Raiders defense, and a defense of their own to keep Toppin in check. Our money is with the Cougars.

NBA Player Prop Parlay

Instead of a same-game parlay, this section will feature the best player props from around the NBA. Here we go.

Khris Middleton Under 13.5 Points (-125)

Middleton has been Mr. Inconsistent, and the Nets have been surprisingly good at defending opposing shooting guards. Fading the elder statesman is an easy play here.

LaMelo Ball Under 3.5 3-Pointers Made (+120)

This line is so high because the Kings allow opposing teams to shoot 38% from three. However, Ball has been icy cold from deep lately, and four threes and plus money is too tempting to pass up.

James Harden Over 2.5 3-Pointers Made (-152)

Harden plays the Pistons, one of the worst teams at stopping opposing shooters. Unlike LaMelo, Harden consistently sees the necessary volume from three to make this a profitable bet.

Bonus Line: Luka Doncic Under 29.5 Points (-110)

This leg is on Tuesday, but who cares. If you’ve been following the newsletter, you know we love this bet. Doncic has been consistently overvalued, and here especially because of the revenge game narrative against the Mavs. If you only pick one of these props, it should be this.

Parlay Bet: 4-Leg Spread on FanDuel
