NBA Friday Quick Hitters
🔹 Sharp Money Alert: In a battle of Eastern Conference titans, the Celtics have jumped from a 2.5-point favorite to a 3.5-point one in their matchup against the Cavaliers. It’s a line they’ve only covered one in three times, and the Cavs will be well-rested and ready. Ride with the underdog to cover.

🔹 Odds Boost to Grab: Sleeper Picks is currently offering a 100% deposit match up to $1,500, compared to a 50% deposit match from Underdog. If you need a new book, Sleeper is worth a gander.
🔹 Trap Game Warning: Shockingly, the Bulls are taking 71% of the action against the Raptors. We have as many questions as you do. If Scottie Barnes does sit this game, fade the pick, but if he plays, HAMMER the Raptors.

Subscriber Pick Spotlight
We’ve got our first iteration of the subscriber pick. This one comes from Patrick in California so if it’s wrong, it’s all on him.
Ja Morant Under 22.5 Points
At the time this is being written, this line is only available on Underdog Fantasy and PrizePicks, but it’s a comfortable bet even at 21.5 points.

This is a super high line, and Morant has been incredibly cold lately, especially from deep. He’s shot 14% from beyond the arc in his last five games, and he shot 28% from the field in an overtime loss to the Suns last time out.
Additionally, Morant is a better scorer away from his home floor. He averages 19 points per game at home compared to 22 PPG on the road. The Knicks are a solid defensive team against point guards, making this even more appealing.

Patrick, we trust you. It’s the first subscriber pick, and we’ve got a feeling it’s going to be a good one.

UFC Picks and Fades
The UFC is back in the Apex, and we’re back to making money on cagefighting. This isn’t a big-name card, but there’s a ton of really good moneymaking spots.

Lock of the Night: William Gomis (-205)

-205 isn’t bad for an absolute whale play. Gomis is an excellent technical kickboxer matched up with a man who fights like he’s on the sidewalk in front of a bar on a busy Saturday night. Lock this one in and max play it.
Fade of the Night: Nasrat Haqparast vs. Esteban Ribovics

This will be one of the best fights of the night, but not for betting. Haqparast is wildly inconsistent, sometimes fighting like Dustin Poirier and others like Mike Jackson.

Ribovics is fantastic, but he’s far from a finished product. This fight is best watched without a bet.
Upset of the Night: Cody Brundage (+100) vs. Julian Marquez

Let’s take a quick look at Julian Marquez’s recent resume.
Three straight knockout losses
Last victory was in 2021 against Sam Alvey
Cut, and then resigned by the UFC
9-5 overall MMA record
This guy absolutely sucks. We would back almost any middleweight against him, and Brundage isn’t a complete can. At plus money, this is an absolute max play.
Fight of the Night: Charles Johnson vs. Ramazan Temirov
This is the second fight of the card, and it will be the best. Johnson is absolutely allergic to anything boring, and Temirov is an absolute firecracker of a flyweight, bringing unnatural power to the weight class.

Don’t miss this one, and look for Johnson to stop another prospect at nearly even money.
Snoozer of the Night: Douglas Silva de Andrade vs. John Castaneda
Good God this is a boring matchup. Both guys are high-level jiu-jitsu fighters who prefer control and position over damage and submissions. It’s nearly a lock to go to decision in lay-and-pray fashion. Go get a beer and wait for the many bangers of this card to come on.
